Why I hate weather/sports tweets
Sometimes I get shit for complaining about weather and live-sports tweets. Here is my reasoning, in a few short points.
1. You add nothing to anything by pointing out the obvious. The banality of those tweets is as boring as hearing it from a first date. Nobody cares, and you aren’t going to get laid if you keep it up.
2. Make it clever/more than just “Its cold”, “Its raining”, “The suns scored another 2 points”, “The Cardinals threw a complete pass.” That way, you are adding content, not repeating facts. Wikipedia, weather.com and espn gamecast are for facty play by play shit, not twitter.
3. Seriously, that’s it: Its boring, pointless and not valuable unless you add something original.
I say these sentences with a tone of a command, but you obviously don’t have to listen. I don’t really care if you do. This is just an opinion on why you suck. Take it for what its worth. (which is millions, by the way. Fucking MILLIONS.)
